The Dog Behind the Couch

One eye. Infinite attitude.

A rescued stray who successfully traded the cold pavement for a permanent spot on the sofa. Now living life with half the depth perception but twice the purpose.

The Rescue

From shelter to sofa

Found wandering with a damaged eye and a heart of gold, my path led from a concrete shelter to a warm, sunlit living room. I lost an eye but gained a family that understands the absolute necessity of mid-afternoon cheese breaks.

Special needs dogs don't need your pity. We just need a little patience, a comfortable spot to snort in peace, and a human who doesn't mind a very loud, rhythmic sleeper.

The Main Event

A purposeful stride around the block, scanning the sidewalk for dropped snacks with laser-like single-focus vision.

Positioning myself directly beneath the refrigerator door. A silent, unblinking negotiation for the cheddar tax.

A deeply committed four-hour nap on the softest cushion available, accompanied by a gentle, rhythmic snoring soundtrack.
